Wedding Gallery Hosting Photographers Can Trust

When you hand a couple their wedding photos, you are also making a promise on behalf of whatever platform hosts them. If the gallery is slow on a guest's phone, that reflects on you. If the link dies in a year, the couple calls you, not the platform. So before you trust a host with your delivery, it is worth asking exactly what happens to your work after you upload it.

Here is how we answer those questions at Revivre, and what we think you should demand from any platform that hosts your galleries, especially when that delivery is an interactive wedding gallery you want couples to reopen for years.

Ask what happens when you stop paying

This is the question most platforms hope you never ask, and the answer is usually buried in a terms page. Some client gallery services quietly shrink your free storage a few months after signup. Others delete expired galleries outright.

Our policy fits in three sentences, and it is on the pricing page, not in fine print. On a paid plan, everything stays live as long as you subscribe. If your plan ends, one story stays published (the free allowance), and the rest go offline but are kept for 12 months. Resubscribe and everything comes back exactly as it was.

Note what we do not say. We do not say "forever", because nobody can guarantee forever. A host that gives you a bounded, specific commitment is telling you the truth. A host that says "never" is hoping you will not test it.

Fast for the guest on a phone, not just the demo

A wedding gallery is judged on a three-year-old phone, on hotel wifi, by a guest who taps the link during dinner. That is the real test, and raw JPEG hosting fails it.

Every photo you upload to Revivre is optimized at ingest. We generate a ladder of sizes in both AVIF and WebP, plus a tiny blurred placeholder that appears instantly while the real photo loads. The guest's browser fetches only the size its screen needs, and photos below the fold load lazily. A story with hundreds of photos stays quick because it never downloads hundreds of photos, only the ones on screen, at the size they are shown.

You upload the same finished JPEGs you deliver to your gallery. No re-exporting, no size guesswork, no settings to tune.

Privacy the couple never has to think about

A wedding is personal. The hosting should treat it that way by default:

• Published stories are not pushed to search engines. A couple's wedding never turns up in a stranger's search results under our domain. The link is shareable, and who sees it stays the couple's choice.
• Password protection is one setting. A protected story sends nothing, not even the photos, until the password is entered.
• Analytics respect consent. View counts and engagement stats only track guests who have agreed to it, and the privacy policy lists every service that touches data, by name.

Your own visibility works the opposite way, on purpose. Your studio name and link are on every story you deliver, because the story is also how the next couple finds you. We wrote more about that loop in how to get more wedding bookings without ads.

Storage measured in photos, because you shoot photos

You plan a season in weddings and photos, so that is how we state every plan's storage: the free plan holds about 2,500 optimized photos (a full wedding), and Studio holds about 125,000, which is years of weddings for most studios. You should never need a calculator to know whether a season fits.

No lock-in: it sits alongside the gallery you already use

Revivre is not asking you to migrate anything. Keep Pic-Time, Pixieset, or ShootProof for delivery and downloads. Revivre adds the interactive story on top, the piece couples actually send to their guest list. Your delivery workflow stays exactly as it is, which also means trying us risks nothing.

The checklist, whatever host you choose

Any platform holding your life's work should give you clear answers to five questions:

1. What exactly happens to live galleries when a subscription lapses?
2. How long is uploaded work retained, stated in months?
3. Are photos optimized for a guest's phone, or served as uploaded?
4. Are client galleries kept out of search engines by default?
5. Can you leave without losing what you already delivered?
