Revivre vs Pixieset: which fits your studio?
An honest comparison of Revivre and Pixieset for wedding photographers: pricing, storage, client galleries, and what each one is actually built to do.
Prices checked August 1, 2026
Short answer
Pixieset is the better all-in-one business suite. Revivre is the better way to hand a couple something they will actually watch.
Revivre suits
Photographers who want the delivery itself to sell the next booking, and who care that a gallery loads fast on a phone at a reception.
Pixieset suits
Photographers who want galleries, a website, a print store and a CRM from one company on one bill.

Pixieset is the tool most wedding photographers reach for first, and there is a good reason for that. It has been around a long time, it does a lot of jobs at once, and it does most of them competently. If what you want is one company handling your galleries, your website, your print sales and your client admin, this comparison probably ends here and you should go with Pixieset.
We built Revivre because we wanted a different thing from the delivery itself.
The actual difference
Pixieset delivers a grid. You upload 600 photos, the couple gets 600 thumbnails in a wall, and they scroll until they stop scrolling. That is a perfectly reasonable way to hand over files, and for a corporate shoot or a family session it is exactly right.
A wedding is not a set of files. It happened in an order, it had a shape, and the person who knows that shape is you. Revivre takes the same upload and lets you lay it out as a story the couple moves through: the morning, the vows, the speeches, the last dance, with your video clips sitting in the same scroll as the stills.
That difference matters commercially, not just aesthetically. A grid gets opened once. A story gets sent to the bride's aunt, and her cousin, and the friend who could not fly in, and every one of those people sees your name at the top.
Where Pixieset is genuinely better
Three things, said plainly:
Print sales. Pixieset has a real store with real fulfilment, commission free on paid plans. Revivre has no store at all. If a meaningful share of your income is prints and albums sold through the gallery, that is a hard requirement and we do not meet it.
One bill for everything. Suite plans bundle galleries, a website and Studio Manager from about $28 a month. Running Revivre plus a separate site plus a separate CRM is more moving parts and probably more money.
Unlimited storage exists. Their top tier does not cap you. Ours caps at 1TB with add-ons that stack, which is a lot of weddings but it is not unlimited.
Where the numbers favour us
The free plan is 5GB against 3GB, which is roughly one full wedding instead of most of one.
The gap opens at the first paid tier. Pixieset Basic is $10 a month for 10GB. Revivre Studio is €19 a month for 250GB. That is 25 times the storage for roughly twice the price, and 10GB is about four or five weddings before you are choosing what to delete.
Speed, which nobody puts on a pricing page
Every photo you upload to Revivre is re-encoded once into AVIF and WebP at several widths, and the gallery only ever downloads the size it is showing. A couple opening their gallery on a phone at the reception is not pulling full-resolution JPEGs over a venue's wifi.
This is not a marketing line, it is the thing we spent the most engineering time on, and it is why a Revivre gallery with 800 photos opens on a phone the way a gallery with 40 does.
How to choose
Ask what the gallery is for.
If it is a delivery mechanism and a shop, Pixieset is the more complete product and you should use it.
If it is the last thing your clients remember about working with you, and the thing their friends see before they book you, that is what Revivre is for.
Pixieset has a free plan and so do we. Put the same wedding in both and send each to a friend who was not there. You will know within a minute.
Prices and plan limits here were checked on the date shown above and come from each company's public pricing pages. Both change them, so confirm before you commit.
See it with your own wedding
The free plan holds a whole wedding, about 2,500 photos. Upload one, send the link to somebody who was not there, and see what they say.
