Deliver a client gallery
Build the gallery the couple opens first, then send it to them.
A gallery is the full set of photographs, laid out to be looked through. It is usually the first thing a couple opens, and it is where they pick favourites and download what they want.
Make one
- Open the project for that wedding.
- Press Create and choose Client gallery.
- The gallery editor opens with your scene list on the left and a live preview on the right.
A gallery is a story like any other, so it has its own link, its own publish status, and its own analytics.
Fill it with photographs
Upload the whole wedding to the project first, then arrange it. See Sort photos into scenes for the fastest way to turn a folder of a thousand frames into named parts of the day.
Choose how it looks
Open Settings in the top left of the editor.
- Cover picks the entrance. There are eight designs, from a full-bleed photo with a centred title to a framed print on paper. You choose the cover photo and the title here too.
- Brand binds the gallery to one of your brand kits, so the fonts and colours are yours rather than ours.
- Extras holds the highlight film and the cinematic opening.
Each scene also has its own layout, set on the scene itself rather than in Settings. Masonry keeps every photo's own shape, the even grid crops to squares, justified rows read like a contact sheet, and spotlight shows one photo at a time. Change one and the preview updates as you watch.
Decide what the couple can do
Under Guests and Delivery:
- Guest favorites lets anyone with the link heart a photo.
- Photo reactions adds a small set of reactions on each frame.
- Downloads can be off, full resolution, or web resolution. You can ask for an email address before a download starts, and you can set a 4 to 8 digit PIN.
Send it
Publish the gallery, then invite the couple by email from the gallery's share controls. They get a link that works once and proves they own the address. After that their browser remembers them, so they do not need a password.
That invite is what separates the couple from a guest. A guest with the link can look through the gallery. The couple can also fill in the lists you ask them for, and hide a photo they would rather not have shown.
